The goals of the Technology Commercialization Task Force of the EDC were to bring together public, private, academic and other sectors to discuss issues of technology commercialization and economic development; to understand technology assets and evaluate capacity of specific technology sectors; to review case studies of technology opportunities and economic development in other regions; to build a Road Map and identify key recommendations; and to help the region become highly globally competitive and commercially successful in the region.
