Business leaders of Illinois have weathered decades of changes caused by today's global economy. The Chicago Manufacturing Center (CMC) was established in 1994 as an Illinois 501(c)-3 Not-for-Profit Corporation to provide small to medium size manufacturing businesses with best-in-class services and to assist with economic development. As an office of the nationwide Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) network of experts, the Chicago Manufacturing Center is part of the #1 consulting network in the United States for small/medium businesses. Prior to joining the Chicago Manufacturing Center, Larry was a growth strategy consultant for Stategex, Inc. in Chicago; was a founding partner of Phigenics, LLC, a life-science start-up serving commercial health care and industrial facilities; and an executive with Nalco Company, a $3 billion global firm in Naperville, IL. Larry holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University and received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. The luncheon is at noon, at The Tower Club, 39th floor, 20 North Wacker Drive, Chicago.
